Stan White

Jun 9, 2022 | News, Parliament

This year has been a difficult year, we have lost another icon from the industry. That rings true for my dear friend Stan White, who passed last Sunday.

Stan has always been a passionate advocate for the taxi industry and along with his late wife, Isobel, they started taxi talk magazine almost 70 years ago.

Today, their legacy is carried on by their daughter, Toni.

I would like to extend my condolences to his daughters, Toni and Donna, his grandchildren and the wider family.  Stan will be dearly missed.

Stan and his late wife Isobel have always fought for a fair industry. They believed in hard work and a living wage.

I feel a responsibility to them and for all taxi families to continue the fight.

Rest in peace, Stan White.
