Neil Mitchell bids farewell to 3AW

Sep 4, 2023 | News

After an illustrious career spanning over three decades, Neil Mitchell bids farewell to 3AW. His tenure has been marked by his knack for stirring up discussions that often put politicians in the hot seat. While opinions on Neil may vary, there’s no denying that his ability to ignite debates has been a positive force.

My personal interactions with Neil Mitchell have centered around the taxi industry. Over the years, he’s been both a critic and a conduit for us. He didn’t shy away from pointing out our shortcomings when necessary, but he also provided us with a platform to present our side of the story to his extensive listener base. For that, I’m grateful.

As Neil embarks on the next chapter of his journey, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude for his fairness and willingness to engage with us. His contributions have left an indelible mark, and I join many in congratulating him on an exceptional career. Here’s to whatever exciting ventures lie ahead!
