Mitcham Angling Club

Rod had a great meeting with Mitcham Angling Club and VR Fish about how accessibility to fishing can be improved in East Melbourne.

Mitcham Angling Club is one of Victoria’s largest fishing clubs and its members are very passionate about supporting the community by getting families out in nature and fishing.

We know that family fishing is needed and wanted by the community. Unfortunately, in the City of Whitehorse there is no space for families to engage in this sport.

We will be working with the Mitcham Angling Club to hopefully create a place where families can come together and fish close to home.
