ManpowerGroup Australia Partnership

Nov 16, 2023 | News

ManpowerGroup Australia is pleased to announce a partnership with Mr. Rod Barton, a former Member of Parliament in the Victorian Legislative Council, former leader of the Transport Matters Party and past President of the Victorian Commercial Passenger Vehicle Association of Australia.
Together with ManpowerGroup’s expert Workforce Solutions team, Rod will explore future training and employment opportunities for some of Australia’s most disadvantaged and vulnerable, those who are unemployed, underemployed, those in the gig economy, and those struggling in the current Commercial Passenger Vehicle industries.
The programs being explored aim to offer secure, long-term employment prospects to those facing challenges due to industry legislation changes, evolving social behaviors, and the rising cost of living.
As a long-term advocate for disadvantaged workers and their families, Mr. Barton has been instrumental in driving positive changes within Victoria’s Taxi, Limousine, and Chauffeur Services industry. His values and commitment to improving the lives of those he represents align seamlessly with ManpowerGroup’s mission.
ManpowerGroup looks forward to partnering with Mr. Barton to continue his work in this space. Together, we are committed to providing secure, meaningful employment opportunities that positively impact the lives of individuals across the sector.
