Knox community building program starts online during isolation

During these challenging times of social isolation a great new project in Knox to involve already isolated people in  community activities has had to be innovative in its approach.

The Living our Best Life project is a partnership between the five community houses in the City of Knox, The Temple Society and the Community Houses Association of the Outer-eastern suburbs. When isolation is lifted the project will trial social prescribing to link people who are socially isolated and lonely into community activities to improve their mental and physical well-being.

During the current health crisis the project will focus on showcasing the amazing groups, events and activities available in Knox in preparation for us all being able to re-engage in community in the near future.
