Inquiry into the Use of School Buses in Rural and Regional Victoria – Hearings

Jul 27, 2021 | News, Parliament, Regional Bus Inquiry

Today we had a fantastic hearing for the School Bus Inquiry! We heard many perspectives.

It was great to have committee members that are from regional Victoria and understand first-hand how a lack of public transport can disadvantage those living in rural and remote areas. T

This inquiry is investigating how we can improve public transport in Regional Victoria. Whether that be by allowing the public to access spare seats on the school bus (with stringent safety measures in place) and/or using the school buses that sit empty during the day for additional town services.

I look forward to the next hearing!
