Easter message from Rod

Apr 9, 2020 | News

I want to wish everyone in the Eastern Metro electorate, the commercial passenger vehicle industry that I support and the wider Victorian communities a very happy and safe Easter weekend at home.

I encourage you all to find new ways to connect with family and friends and stick to the requirements of physical distancing.

These are strange and challenging times and we are all charged with the task of just staying at home and not socialising as we normally would over the Easter break.

For my family we will meet with our grandchildren over Zoom to see the great haul of Easter Eggs they will find in their own backyards. I am personally delighted that I don’t have to share any that are left in my own yard.

This is a time to be creative and find new ways to connect with each other. We can arrive online with crazy hair, or dressed as the Easter Bunny. There is still room to delight each other, and this is a great time to be creative.

Remember we are all in this together. We are relying on each other to stay at home, to keep the coronavirus at bay and give our health system the time it needs to prepare.

Happy Easter.
